Master Artists Series at Upturn Arts
We're once again proud to sponsor a Master Artists Series at Upturn Arts this summer!!
Upturn Arts is a fun and creative program that teaches children from the New Orleans community to explore and build confidence in themselves as artists.
They distinguish themselves from other arts education programs by offering both on- and off-site programming, using a sliding scale fee model, welcoming all students without auditions, and focusing on individuality and creative expression within our students. In 2016, 50% of our young artists attended Upturn Arts programming on a scholarship or financial aid.

Daria and the Hip Drops, Big Sam's Funky Nation, Cha Wa, Mike Doussan, Leslie Cooper, Stooges Brass Band, Water Seed, Dr. Michael White, Alexis and the Samurai, Lilli Lewis, Tiana Hux, Matthew Zarba/Upbeat Academy, Mike Dillon, and Alfred Banks.
