Special thanks to Rob Davis Photography for taking our raw footage from several cameras and making something really beautiful with it.
In 2018, Positive Vibrations Foundation was extremely excited to take on a monumental project outside of the United States working in Haiti with KANPE, a foundation that supports the most vulnerable Haitian families towards financial independence. In July 2018, we traveled to Baille Tourible, Haiti with our friend and colleague Dr. Jean Montès to deliver 70 music instruments to the Baille Tourible Marching band in support of their growing music program founded by KANPE.
The BTMB is a transformative project for young people in the municipality of Baille Tourible. Despite modest means, the results to date are impressive. The band is a source of regional pride- its effects are felt at many levels: leadership, pride, life plans, incentive to stay, decreasing the rural exodus and more.
