N O B A B E at Preservation Hall

N.O.B.A.B.E. is a showcase of some of New Orleans finest musicians, who happen to be women. In a nod to the future of music in our city, N.O.B.A.B.E. features Arsene DeLay, Daria Dzurik, Emily Fredrickson, Hannah Kreiger-Benson, Lori LaPatka, Ainsley Matich, Alison McConnell, Margie Perez, Catie Rodgers, Ashley Shabankareh, Amy Trail, Boyanna Trayanova, Cole Williams, Kathryn Rose Wood, Jessica Wright and Jamie Lynn Vessels. N.O.B.A.B.E was first brought together during this year's Bayou Boogaloo Music Festival, but unfortunately was never presented due to the inclement weather that impacted the festival. Thanks to Monique Pyle, Positive Vibrations Foundation, and Friends of Bayou St. John, this unique arrangement of musical talent was assembled in response to growing national focus on multi-faceted representation across all platforms, including music. Through their rehearsals, they've discovered that is has become a way to strengthen the voices of fellow women in the music community, breaking down barriers and creating new opportunities. N.O.B.A.B.E - Giving women and young girls a chance to see a reflection of themselves on stage.
