Congo Kids Drumming School at the Donald Harrison Sr. Museum is accepting students for a 5 week program. Registrations are considered in the order they are received. Completion of this form is not confirmation of enrollment. You will receive a reply from staff in regards to the status of enrollment into the program. Congo Kids Drumming School Schedule: Saturday classes 3:00-4:30pm and Tuesday performance 5-7:00pm 9/22​ Andrew Wiseman | Traditional West African Drum Rhythms

9/29​ Wendi Moore-O'Neal of Jaliyah Consulting | Freedom Singing using voice and body percussion (hands and feet) 10/6​ Kerry Vessel, Big Chief Brian Nelson | New Orleans Indian Funk + Traditional Mardi Gras + Indian Drumming (Tambourine) and Chants 10/13​ All Drummers + Aaron Washington | Rehearsal 10/16​ ​Tuesday Night Performance at National Night Out Against Crime (details TBA)

*The program will culminate with a performance by the students and their instructors on Tuesday, October 16, 5:00-7:00PM at the National Night Out Against Crime event in the Upper Ninth Ward neighborhood. This event will be held at 1930 Independence Ave NOLA and is free and open to the public. More details on the event TBA.
